SharePoint Portal/Web Application Programmer (00-004)
OMNITEC Solutions (http://www.omnitecinc.com) has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Software Developer/Web Application Programmer.
This is an immediate need (August 22, 2008) for 2-3 months, with the job site in Washington, DC (20003), with some degree of telecommuting available.
We are looking for the following experience;
3+ years total App Dev exp;
1+ years SharePoint 2006implementation exp; looking for hands on integration & customization of SharePoint and customized Web Parts on at least one integration effort. Experience w/ CorasWorks is a PLUS.
Additional skills in Object Oriented development, ".Net" development tools, (VB.Net or C#), SQL, or User Interface development skills w/ HTML, XML, CSS, etc., are very helpful.
Full life cycle development skills are required as our Developers work closely with our clients and end users.
As this position supports a large Intelligence agency, US citizenship required.
Work site: This person will support a SharePoint integration team out of our Maritime Plaza office in Washington, DC: www.mapquest.com . You can reach it via METRO, but a shuttle bus is required from Metro to the office site.
