Incumbent will assist in managing the operations of the Mental Health and Retardation Branch of the Family Court Operations Division, which is responsible for the adjudication of cases involving the commitment of the mentally ill and substantially retarded, and the secured maintenance and storage of records resulting from these activities. Submits recommendations and procedures to improve the Branch\'s overall operation. Instruct staff members on procedures and policies. Monitors work of staff for compliance with branch and division standards and goals. Plans work schedules and sequences of operations to assure an even flow and distribution of work, the expeditious handling of priority cases and changes in workload, and meeting schedules and deadlines. Identifies and addresses training and development needs of staff. Compiles reports, both statistical and narrative.
