Education: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. In addition to meeting the basic requirements above, applicant must possess 1 year specialized experience at the next lower pay band or equivalent under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems managing and administering organizational Case Management functions, to include identifying resource requirements, evaluating outcomes and recommending appropriate changes, and communicating findings to appropriate personnel. Experience evaluating aspects of inpatient and outpatient care to determine alternative approaches to provision of care and services, and to recommend and/or initiate plans to improve utilization of clinical resources.
