Job Description:
Coordinates the administration of the workers compensation program by tracking and monitoring industrial injuries, overseeing the distribution of benefits and settlements, serving as liaison between the City, injured employees, and the third party administrator, and recommending action on CalPERS disability retirement applications Manages a comprehensive employee safety program in compliance with Cal/OSHA and related federal, state, and local regulations; administers Injury and Illness Prevention Program; oversees Safety Committee; develops, monitors, and tracks mandated safety training; inspects City facilities to ensure safe working conditions.
