Responsibilities: Will function as the facilities key person to help build, educate and implement the patient safety processes and promote the culture of safety within CAVHCS. This includes working with all leels of staff, including senior management, patient safety teams, patient incident reiew teams, Root Cause analysis's teams and Healthcare Failure Mode Effect Analysis teams. The incumbent has the responsibility for translating the policies, theories and strategies into actions within the complex interrelationships that exists related to patient safety. These duties require the ability to apply the specialized principles and practices of health care management in leading the facilities patient safety program.
