The Director (GPV) will: Provide pharmacovigilance expertise to a group of MS-CRM physicians as well as to other Schering Plough members, internal or external to GPV. Provide leadership by effective mentoring of the MS-CRM physicians, continuous monitoring of projects under their charge to ensure that potential safety issues are identified early, its significance /impact analyzed and effectively communicated to appropriate members of the clinical/project or other relevant members within Schering Plough Coordinate MS-CRM resources in the preparation, evaluation and documentation of all safety issues concerning the projects under its charge. Minimal education required for this job Medical Doctor (M.D.) Skills REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge and skills required are as follows: . possess excellent clinical and critical analytic skills with a keen understanding of clinical safety analysis . organize resources well and match skill sets to accomplish myriad of tasks under its charge . demonstrate leadership skills by motivating others to achieve excellence both in the quality of work and in their approach to team work . must have excellent written and oral communication skills . must work well with others throughout the organization Education / experience required: . MD from an accredited Medical School - U.S. Licensing preferred. . US or Canadian board certification, or eligibility preferred.
