Become involved in work that improves the quality of life for people around the globe. We are seeking a VP, Regional Clinical Operations to join the team. The purpose of this position is to provide direct clinical monitoring operations for a broad geographic unit. Develop plans to ensure the allocation of human, material, system and fiscal resources for assigned area of accountability. Determine strategic goals and objectives for designated unit and assures operational alignment with senior management priorities. Lead ownership of regional or functional strategic initiatives and works with senior management across disciplines to develop implementation plans. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage staff in accordance with organizations policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters Direct a broad segment of clinical operations staff assuring clinical project deliverables are achieved for each clinical role within span of control. Develop managers within area of accountability to develop staff along career progression goals and strategic departmental and corporate priorities. Formulate effective strategic goals for clinical operations across regions/countries. Take ownership for strategic initiatives within assigned unit of accountability including development of measures for success. Provide strategic leadership and approval for the clinical resourcing process and outcomes, clinical hiring targets and processes and onboarding and training standards
