Responsibilities: Lead all business development activity for the organization. Create and manage a strategically focused, high performance business development function characterized by a highly integrated team. This includes the management of a four person sales team. Assess the capabilities of the existing staff and provide coaching and mentoring as required. Recruit and select top talent to augment the existing staff. Develop and articulate a strategic marketing mix that lifts revenue and margin through. Identifying the right segments. Articulating the key points of differentiation. Communicating the value proposition through high impact and efficient advertising, earned media, public relations and sales collateral. Enhancing the strength of the brand. Leveraging rich market and customer knowledge. Manage the company's messages, venues and participants for all industry seminars, conferences and events providing a vibrant, efficient and coordinated face to the market research community. Actively participate as a member of the senior executive team in corporate strategy formulation. Reports to: The Chief Executive Officer. Requirements: An Advanced degree in business or a relevant discipline. 10+ years of experience in marketing and sales ideally in a leadership capacity. Experience developing effective strategies to drive growth in a both mature and early stage business models. A working knowledge of research methodology and the market research space. A collegial management style and willingness to engage with and get involved at all levels of the organization. A fundamental understanding of business process outsourcing (BPO). An inquisitive nature with strong cognitive, analytical and problem solving capabilities. Superior general business acumen and the demonstrated ability to deliver results.
