Job Description:
Neurology private medical practice seeking independently licensed social worker, counselor, or psychologist to head up a health and wellness clinic. Duties would include coordinating activities of allied health staff, individual psychotherapy, starting and conducting group therapy, and developing a behavioral pain program. Requires ability to work independently, enthusiasm for psychiatric and medical populations (e.g., pain disorders), openness to working with alternative healthcare providers (e.g., massage therapists), willingness to learn new skills (e.g., hypnotherapy), and ability to work in a high-volume, electronic environment. Candidate must possess excellent communication and documentation skills, and the ability to initiate and implement programmatic interventions for a multidisciplinary team. Located in beautiful Fairfield County, Connecticut.
