Workers' Compensation case management, is seeking an experienced Field Case Manager for the Chicago area. Job responsibilities include the assessment of medical documentation as it relates to the work injury. The case manager will be responsible for working with the injured worker, treating physician and the insurance company toward a safe and appropriate return to work. This position is home based and includes driving to scheduled medical appointments. A laptop and printer/fax will be provided. Salary and benefits are competitive for this market NOTES: 2 openings. Telecommuting is allowed. Local Residents Preferred (No Relo). Salary is competitive Requirements The appropriate candidate will have a current IL RN license and driver's license. A solid clinical background is required, preferably in Ortho/Neuro or Occupational Nursing. CCM certification preferred. The candidate needs to possess basic computer and writing skills, the ability to write a comprehensive report and critical thinking skills. Case management experience preferred. Bi-lingual fluent Spanish required.
