In this position, you will supervise the daily activities of a single operations unit. Determine workflow and scheduling. Implement operational polices and procedures. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. SPECIFIC JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision of the Vault Manager, the Vault Cash Services Supervisor trains, coaches, and develops vault processors; handles transactions; performs activities; problem-solves for other vault processors. Ensure that the currency/coin needs of customers and banking offices are fulfilled through the management of vault cash. Balances off-site currency and coin inventories daily using daily reports from armored carriers. Performs quarterly off site audits of currency/coin inventories. Works with regional support managers and other departments regarding changes in scheduling, service requirements, and any discrepancies. Monitors and reports daily cash inventories in excess of 15 million dollars. KEY RESULT AREAS - Supervision - Cash Management - Report Preparation - Customer Service - Security - Problem Solving - Research JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Provide supervision to the Vault Department by coaching, training, developing and evaluating vault processors to maintain an efficiently operating area and to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. 2. Provide direction and support to the department employees in the resolution of complex and unusual situations to ensure accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Investigate any and all cash variations that occur. 3. Provide customer service for correspondent banks, commercial customers, the main bank, and branches by providing accurate cash deposits, change orders, and information. Maintain customer satisfaction through prompt, appropriate response to customer concerns or questions. 4
