Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for facilitating the budget process, developing forecasting models, identifying and resolving accounting issues and supporting corporate finance initiatives. It is also responsible for supervising the external financial reporting process, overseeing the internal financial reporting process, including consolidation of financial statements, coordinating the preparation of financial analyses and overseeing the accounting on corporate matters. This position reports to the Controller, works closely with senior management and directs a staff in Corporate Accounting. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications include Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred and CPA certification. Minimum of ten years of experience in auditing, financial reporting and/or accounting, including a focus on SEC compliance matters. Minimum of five years of managerial or supervisory experience. Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including emerging pronouncements. Solid understanding of systems of internal control and business systems. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
