Job Description:
The position involves telecommuting from a home-based virtual office. The day-to-day responsibilities include marketing calls, client development, client presentations, closing skills, client maintenance and recruiting. Resource Spectrum is a multi-million dollar firm serving companies throughout the world to staff their information system/technology needs. Services include contract, contract-to-hire and some permanent staffing. Our firm has been in business since 1989. We maintain a private database of over one million current technical resumes. Because all commissions amount to 50% of the invoice amount on permanent placements and 50% of contract staffing margins, our Account Managers make much more than a technical recruiter that receives a base salary plus commission. All Account Managers work and start on COMMISSION ONLY with NO BASE SALARY.
Job Requirements:
Resource Spectrum is seeking an experienced Account Manager, Account Executive in major business markets who will manage his/her own portfolio of client accounts to place technical contractors or consultants. You must have at least three years of experience in selling IT systems integration, IT staffing services or IT software solutions. In addition, excellent presentation (verbal and written communication) skills and the ability to manage accounts and work independently are required.
You must have a proven track record of account development. Background must include strong internal drive; high ethical values; straight forward selling to clients; building client trust and loyalty; proven sales leader and a proven sales team builder. Experience in placing contractors or consultants in the following areas is a plus: CRM, ERP, Data Warehousing, Sales, Enterprise Software, eCommerce, systems integration.
