Job Description:
The Circulation/DB Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and implementing strategic database marketing initiatives, and for the promotion, fulfillment and distribution of Ingram\'s Magazine and other ancillary products. The Circulation/DB Manager develops and executes strategic circulation and DB marketing efforts, and forecasts, manages and analyzes circulation for all print and electronic publications. The Circulation/DB Manager works directly with the publishers and controller in determining strategic plans, goals and objectives for circulation and DB marketing activities. The duties of the position also cover the many directories, lists and destination publications produced by the company. The Circulation/DB Manager oversees and pro-actively executes fulfillment, newsstand distribution and print operations for all company publications. Will be primarily responsible for Book of Lists Online, Circulation etc... The controller of data... Marketing Strategy and Promotion Develop strategies and implement programs for marketing ancillary products and services Develop and implement subscription promotion strategies, engineer circulation promotion strategies; coordinate and track promotion campaigns Provide advertising sales support related to circulation inquiries Develop new retail and/or vending locations Administration Create and implement innovative marketing strategies and campaigns for positioning data/database- driven company products and services. Cultivate industry contacts through involvement with local and national organizations and associations to promote the business and its products and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and developments. Negotiate optimum cost savings and efficiencies with vendors and suppliers
