Retail Banking-Retail Assistant Branch Manager Job Location: Company, KS INTRUST BANK Department: Main Lobby Downtown Job Grade: 21 Job Code: 080005 Hours: Mon-Fri variable General Description: Assist manager with overall responsibility of the retail branch location, supporting sales goals, and actively participates in the selling and delivery of all financial services provided by this financial institution. Provide assistance with the operations of the branch. Help the branch deliver quality customer service, which includes opening accounts, providing customers with information, and resolves banking problems for customers. Provides work direction and coaching to other branch employees as required. When necessary, incumbent will support day-to-day branch operations. Essential Functions: Meets or exceeds established sales goals. Attend all sales and product knowledge training and promotional meetings offered in order to keep current on all issues. Maintain knowledge of bank policies and procedures. Knowledgeable of banking regulations that impact area of responsibility. Assures that all branch general ledger accounts are maintained and reviewed daily, and that cash is in balance. Perform duties to satisfy auditing issues. Trains and keeps employees informed on operational issues. Business Development: Acquires new business relations as well as expanding and retaining existing customer relationships. Personally meets or exceeds in cross-sell performance Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent; college or previous Personal Banking/New Account experience would be a plus. Supervisor experience and sales certification is required. Ability to evaluate needs of customers, and determine what products would best serve those needs. Has knowledge of all INTRUST Bank’s products available to customers in order to evaluate their needs, and determine what products or service would best serve those needs
