Job Description:
As Manufacturing Manager for this World-Class company you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all areas of production in the Fabrication Department. Duties include: establishing guidelines to be used by staff to organize and manage their areas in the most efficient manner; providing practical operational solutions to continually make improvements; supervising operations to best manage personnel, equipment and materials; conducting daily production meetings and fostering team work among subordinates and production employees; conducting annual performance reviews and quarterly evaluations; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and directly supervising Area Managers and indirectly supervising Supervisors. Job Requirements:
Education: 4-year degree is required; Engineering, Production Management, or similar discipline preferred.
Required Skills: 7+ years experience in a large (1MM square foot +) Lean Manufacturing facility; proven experience in leadership, problem solving, decision making, team building, critical thinking and analysis, labor relations; and applicable computer skills.
