Job Summary: Reports to revenue controller. Position is heavily focused on creating revenue policies and internal controls for recently acquired entities in Western Europe and in the USA. Perform revenue due diligence review and integration of acquired companies, as needed Key business partner to divisional finance and senior sales executives to ensure that the global revenue accounting function delivers timely, accurate, and reliable revenue reporting. Provide technical revenue accounting guidance to the global organization; Assist sales force in structuring unique transactions while satisfying GAAP requirements for recognition. Ensure complete compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements as laid out for revenue accounting and improve controls where necessary. Satisfy quarterly and annual audit requirements for our external auditors. Work with IT to drive toward systems consistent with business practice. Ensure that the product divisions have necessary revenue information to support their needs including ongoing training. Lead efforts to develop policies and procedures that streamline revenue operations processes. Research revenue accounting issues as needed Position Requirements: Expert in software revenue recognition principles and their application to complex enterprise software transactions. Experience in application of SOP , , EITF to enterprise software transactions BA / BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
