Collaborate with sales managers and the DOS on annual sales budgets, goals and targets in the automotive category Support regional and national sales efforts when appropriate, and manage Vehix dealers throughout the cable ad sale territory with AEs and sales managers, lead sales meetings, train AEs on automotive retention processes, and all intricacies of the Vehix tools and product offering Track dealer spending, growth, averages and identify trends in dealer spending Lead and train AEs in finding the best opportunity for new business and upgrades among the market's dealer universe Make joint sales presentations to auto dealers promoting the power of cable advertising and Vehix program Serves in a training and consultative role to sales managers and account executives marketing the combined cable advertising/Vehix program Travels as necessary to industry trade shows and Vehix sales strategy meetings Serves as liaison between ad sales and Vehix management and technical staff Attends major trade show functions (CAB) and works in show booths as required Maintains memberships and relationships in local auto dealer groups and organizations Initiates sponsorships or additional promotion at industry events that are approved by GM Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required
