The mission of the DHS Privacy Office is to minimize the impact of the individual\'s privacy, particularly the individual\'s personal information and dignity, while achieving the mission of DHS.Work cooperatively with DHS Component and Offices in carrying out compliance functions, including reviews of privacy impact assessments, privacy threshold analysis, and System of Records Notices, and in reviewing specific programs and privacy implementation efforts.
