POSTING: The Department of Corrections may create a list of eligible applicants from the people who respond to this posting. We will not obtain a list of eligibles from the Department of Civil Service. You must send us your application by the Closing Date of this posting if you wish to be considered for this position. Even if you already have a Civil Service grade, you must reapply and submit a new application to the Human Resources Office to be considered for the vacancy. If you have a grade for any register using this test series, you do not have to retest or get a formal re-grade, but you must submit your grade whenever you apply for a position. If the application has a grade for the correct test series but not the exact register , then the Human Resources Office will screen applications to determine whether applicant meets the minimum qualifications for the position. Applicants must have their grades effective by the date the announcement closes. Only ONE Job Title and Announcement Number are allowed per application. An application with multiple Job Titles and/or Announcement Numbers will be Rejected.
