Job Description:
As well, the position will be responsible for the acquisition of grant funding needed to effectively grow the scope and availability of Transportation Demand Management projects primarily related to, but not limited to, bike safety and education programs. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and three years of experience directly related to the area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties such as those listed above. Experience presenting to grant partners, pilot schools, employees, civic groups, professional organizations and the general public; and experience in Bicycle Safety and Education Programs and/or Safe Route to School Programs is highly preferred.Valid Arizona Driver\'s LicenseBackground Investigation:Employment is contingent upon the results of a background check. Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills: Designs a strategic implementation and work plan for both the Safe Route to School Program and the Bike/Pedestrian Education Program.Creates or improves existing safety and alternate mode education curriculums, web based reporting, tracking and bicycle trip planning tools.Creates and manages delivery of comprehensive school and bike programs, with grant partners, to pilot schools and the general public.Manages programs to align with new and existing bike and transportation safety curriculums with AZ school standards to ensure accessibility of curriculums for all users.Manages and oversees a comprehensive alternate mode and bike/pedestrian safety and education program that includes advertising, public relations, public affairs, and media events.
