Job Description:
Annually Examples of Duties Performed - Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Develops, manages, and coordinates the Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-required five year Consolidated Plan and corresponding One-Year Action Plans, the annual Consolidated Assessment and Evaluation Report and compliance with environmental, Federal labor standards, historic preservation, and equal opportunity mandates. Manages activities relating to housing development, housing rehabilitation and home repair, public services, neighborhood and accessibility capital improvements, landbanking, economic development, and non-profit capital improvements to result in the timely expenditure of funds. Staffs the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee, a department advisory committee that advises the Planning & Development Department on the use of CDBG funds; works with Intergovernmental Housing Policy Board on HOME and other housing related allocations.Provides lead staff coordination and communication with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the funding agency.
