Management and supervisory duties: supervises four (4) Health Information Management staff. Patient Registration: Coordinates with the Business Office to provide continual and consistent patient registration activities. Identifies and updates new patient data in a consistent manner and pertinent information/data is keyed entered into the patient registration database the same day. Coordinates with the Business Office to ensure that a third part party screening and identification program is viable at all times to determine third party insurance for patients who receive services within the service area. Accurate and up-to-date patient third party information is consistently available in the Resource Patient Management System as it is crucial to Contract Health and Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance billing programs and service unit revenue collections. Ensures ambulatory care forms are processed in an accurate and timely manner to maintain consistent billing and revenue collection activities.
