Job Description:
The programs and services include vocational training, medical day care, landscape and janitorial employment services, other supported employment, residential care, individual and family support, treatment foster care, respite assistance, recreation, camping and leisure activities.Position is live-in from Sunday evening through Friday evening. Core hours for the position are 7 am to 11 pm. Private living area within residence. As the Residential Counselor you will be responsible for ensuring the health & safety of supported individuals, coordinating services and community integration activities, managing the successful operations of the home(s), and supervising staff. Qualified candidates must possess an degree (or 60 credit hours) with direct experience in developmental disabilities or at minimum 3 years of experience in a residential home. Successful candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as a valid Maryland driver's license, two years driving experience, a clean driving record, and vehicle. Individual should possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Supervision and management experience is highly preferred. when applying say you found this position.
