We are currently hiring one full-time assessment counselor and one part-time assessment counselor. Job responsibilities: -Work directly with our youth at the Deer Valley residential campis -Complete face to face assessments for residents post-crisis. -Formulate assessments and treatment conceptualization that reflects Youth Villages' philosophies. -Documentall critical event notes and assessments in a timely fashion. -On call for a 24 hour period and responds to crisis calls within this time period -Complete assessments per crisis call - Interview the youth to obtain information concerning psychiatric history or other pertinent information to develop youth psychosocial and in-take documentation. -Coordinates appropriate therapeutic action on an individual basis regarding visits home and parental visits. Additional Qualifications: -RN, Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling -Licensure required -Position is in Linden, TN. Applicants must be willing to commute during their shifts and will receive mileage reimbursement. -One year experience in residential treatment or hospital setting preferred. -Counselor's are paid for being on call and for each individual assessment during this time.
