Job Description:
This part time position supports the manager in implementing the youth development and advocacy program.
Responsibilities:
To provide child advocacy and supportive services, as well as mentoring and tutoring.
Assisting in planning and conducting after-school program from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
Help determine an academic plan for each child participating in Youth Services Program.
Monitor each childs school performance and attendance.
Assist the director in developing of a summer day camp program; and contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the Youth Services Department.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have at least one year college experience, and be working towards their BA, preferably in social work or education; prior experience working with youth. Candidates must have background/ criminal/ sexual assault clearances and TB shot before they can begin work.
