A able to draw on the expertise of some of the more established divisions, including the industry leaders in fuel cell technology and building heating, cooling and control systems.Lead the organization to assemble, test and deliver the validation PC40 alpha bus powerplants. This candidate will have ownership for the delivery of these powerplants to the customer. Significant interaction with Product Design, Planning, Quality, Field Service and Manufacturing is required. Metrics for success will be to exceed the quality, cost and delivery requirements and improved customer satisfaction. Responsible for the implementation of Lean Manufacturing philosophy using the UTC A.C.E. tools to continuously learn and improve the assembly and test processes.B.S. in engineering or related field required.ACE Associate Level Certification10+ years in a commercial manufacturing environment with demonstrated experience in product launches and project management skills.Experience and demonstrate ProE experience.Company is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
