This is accomplished through the leadership, guidance and coaching given to 20-60 full-time and temporary hourly associate in the production, warehousing, distribution, and/or field operations. This position has considerable impact upon the plant's contribution to the Growing Media division's overall performance and customer relations.KEY WORK PERFORMED Supervises a workforce compromised of 20-60 hourly full-time and temporary associates performing activities in one or more of the following are: production, equipment maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, warehouse, distribution, and/or field operations. Assigns work and monitors progress, orients and trains associates, interviews and recommends hiring of applicants, evaluates associate work performance, counsels associates and/or implements disciplinary action, and establishes associate work schedules. Execution and enforcement of government, company and/or plant laws, procedures, and/or policies.
