Responsible for managing all aspects of moderately complex spices, seasonings and flavors manufacturing operations. Leads a zero loss manufacturing culture focused on continuous improvement and delivering world class sustainable performance. Responsible to deliver results that meet quality, customer service, safety, innovation and cost criteria. Formulates or approves short- and long-term operating objectives in areas such as cost reduction, quality improvement, new product development and/or integration as undertaken at the plant level. Manages various plant staff functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, IT, etc. either directly or indirectly. 10 years related experience. Position Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: 1. Manage operations to ensure production requirements are met in a timely and cost-efficient manner. 2. Defines and presents to operations management the plant's viewpoints and recommendations on long-term operating goals and programs. 3. Defines and directs the administration of plant policies within the framework and intent of the company's manufacturing policy. 4. Formulates or approves short- and long-term operating objectives in areas such as cost reduction, quality improvement, new product development and/or integration as undertaken at the plant level. 5. Develops and implements plans to assure achievement of appropriate volume of production for each product produced6. Ensures that systems are developed to ensure product conforms to customer specifications.7. Ensures that the manufacturing process meets quality standards.8. Trains and motivates subordinates in the performance of their duties. Develops their management talent and encourages thinking beyond the status quo.9. Manages the Shop Floor Control program. 10. Manages plant Safety program in conjunction with Human Resources.11. Works closely with Sales Team and Customers to resolve issues.12. Responsible for overall coordination of all product returns, facility generated rework. and customer complaints.13. Establishes and manages annual financial plan
