We currently have an opening for a General Manager who will act as a strategic partner with the line businesses while working closely with the management teams on new business ventures and lease arrangements. Responsibilities: Directly oversee financial analysis staff and assist in managing and carrying out the objectives of the Office of Financial Analysis in providing services within the agency Identify areas of opportunity within the respective business segments Provide financial expertise in the initial planning stages of business initiatives, projects, and negotiations by analyzing assumptions, revenue implications, and operational impacts Identify and resolve all financial issues before final business proposals move forward for approval by the Executive Director to the Board of Commissioners Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA highly preferred A minimum of years in financial management Progressively responsible managerial experience in financial analysis, business planning or related analytical areas Experience working on major financial projects, including projects involving capital investment, complex negotiations and major deals Excellent presentation, interpersonal, management, decision-making, negotiation, conflict management and communication skills Proactive leadership qualities, with high energy level Superior critical, strategic thinking and analytical skills Goal oriented with strong sense of urgency The Port Authority offers a competitive salary, outstanding benefits package.
