Responsibilities: Create and deliver written communications for a senior vice president. Forming and driving a communication strategy, along with providing strategic counsel to the executive, will be required. Creation of one-page reference documents for the executive's use is an ongoing requirement for different meetings and engagements. Work closely with the senior-level manager to build the brand of the position and establish the engagement process that moves the organization toward meeting business goals. A communication platform will need to be created and maintained to ensure consistency of messaging across all regions. Work with AR, PR and Corporate communications to deliver required content. Develop and support an executive blog. Prepare and present strategy, goals and status to staff members. Proactively engage and market the leverage that SalesCom brings to the table in the way of delivering sales-usable content for the product groups. Maintain budget and relationship with contract vendors. Using teamwork and leadership skills to deliver quantifiable results, this individual will ensure that communications meet the expectation of the executive and audience to positively impact and improve the experience for the field. Requirements: A College degree in English or Communications is preferable. A master's degree is considered preferred. 3-5 years of marcom experience, including web communications if possible. 3-5 years of managing communications for an executive. Excellent customer skills in a commercial/consumer or industry environment. Track record of organizing successful communication campaigns and or initiatives. Background in organizing/coordinating communication activities and events. Demonstrated contribution within a high-performing organization and have a proven track record in supporting executives for writing and communications. Proficient written, verbal and presentation skills for business and technical communications. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on all tasks in a timely manner. Ability to work with Blogs and other electronic communication vehicles. Must have great attention to detail, ability to accomplish tasks quickly and work under tight timeframes. Ability to consistently manage the number of communication requests, as well as build content for coffee talks and smaller team engagements. Consulting, teamwork, leadership, ability to work autonomously, tolerance of ambiguity, analytical, influence and persuasion, decision making/ problem solving, flexibility, creativity, initiative, interpersonal, organizational skills, full and superior fluency in English, both written and spoken, advanced skills in PowerPoint and MS Office.
