Responsibilities: Promotes advocacy for school counselors through strategic alliances with for-profit and non-profit organizations, district and state education departments, and government agencies at all levels, and local, state and national professional associations. Serves as a key liaison for outreach and advocacy to school counselors in districts with large numbers of underserved college-going student populations. Provides direct consultation services to school districts; manages resources, outside consultants and other contractors. Identifies and coordinates both internal and external resources for system-wide district support and advocacy as needed. Develops and executes customized plans for working with district leadership at the central office and school building level.
