Job Description:
He or she is accountable for executing and maintaining customer service standards in our stores as well as executing operational tasks related to daily Café operations. Café Sellers are responsible for driving results through execution of store processes and initiatives. Excellent customer service, task management and a positive attitude are essential for top performers in this role. In other words, Borders Superstore Café Sellers are charged with supporting their General Manager and Managers in making our mission to be the headquarters for knowledge and entertainment throughout the world a reality in their store. This position reports to a Manager and the Café Supervisor may direct daily activities.
Job Requirements:
Consistently provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving food and beverages to customers, answering customer questions and recommending product.
Maintain Café presentation standards including merchandising the display case, counter areas and fixtures to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and safety standards.
Maintain Café inventory and complete ordering duties as assigned.
Comply with company business standards, policies and procedures.
