Description:
We are seeking a superior graphic designer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position excels at designing and creating assets for use in websites, online ad campaigns, blogs, desktop applications and GUIs. Experience creating corporate identities and brands is also a plus. Design tasks will include complete websites, rich media banners, corporate identities, icons, and more.
Job Requirements:
- Be in the top 5% of designers and have a superior eye for design with the drive to create
- Experience leading and providing direction for artistic and creative teams
- Ability to formulate and design fresh and innovative concepts with a minimum of guidance
- Must have online portfolio available (provide link in response). Myspace, Deviantart and Flickr are not acceptable
- Must have extensive web experience, including both web sites and banner ads
- Must have a strong background in design and color theory
- Must have a good working knowledge of XHTML and CSS
- Must be able to stay focused and multitask
- Be able to research and provide photographs from existing stock as well as update an in-house image library with a constant stream of new images
- Experience working under Mac OS X
- Experience working with Flash
A Plus:
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and ActionScript
- Experience cutting up website designs into usable templates (using CSS)
- BA or BFA in Graphic Arts/Design from an accredited University
