Job Description:
Oversee and supervise textile operations and maintenance. Coordinate and direct projects and make detailed plans to accomplish each season’s textile goals and direct the integration of technical activities. Able to talk through trends, new construction methods and techniques, new fabrications and how to execute appropriately for Wicked Fashions. Supervise purchasing trips with marketing, management and production to discuss project specifications, budget and procedures. Direct, review and approve product designs and changes, prepare budgets, bids and contracts and direct the negotiation of purchasing of textile contracts with factories. Responsible for training and developing factories on the brand standards to ensure they are being met in production. Able to accurately fit, process and assess specs, previous requests and construction on a large quantity of samples, in shortened Company calendar, in factory. Execute production approval and sign off on NPG quality production. Able to develop and maintain consistent size and fit standards; grade rules and tolerances. Able to develop and maintain Consistent Quality and Construction standards. Perform administrative tasks such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decision about the purchase of materials and goods. Review, recommend and approve contracts and cost estimates. Should be experience with Web PDM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Digital Camera and editing software, FlexPLM.
Job Requirements:
Req: Bachelor’s degree in Clothing Science + 5 Yrs Exp as Textile Engineer
