Job Description:
Project Engineer/Management (ASME Sect.IX & VIII, Div 1) Direct Hire $60-$80K
My client is a 60+ year old manufacturer in the Heat Transfer, Vacuum Pumps and Pressure Vessel Industry. They are currently undergoing significant growth and are in the need for a Full-Time Permanent Project Engineer/Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Candidates will ensure timely and efficient completion of detailed engineering projects to achieve cost and schedule objectives.
• Frequent customer interface to present project status and gain confidence in overall support of customer programs.
• Performs or leads others in the preparation of product or system modeling and technical data package development using finite element analysis, structural and mechanical calculations and other engineering practices to verify design concepts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent and have a minimum of 3-5 years experience performing mechanical design and engineering within the oil refining, gas transmission or petrochemical industries is preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Div. 1 and Section IX is a plus.
• Experience interfacing with a machining/welding fabrication shop is a plus.
