Job Description:
Local full service pet care company is seeking exceptional part time pet sitters and dog walkers. Pet Sitters visit customers' home and care for pets there. Dog Walkers visit customers' homes and provide walks for customers' pets. Length of visit or walks is twenty minutes to one hour. Also available is overnight pet sitting in the customers' homes. Pet Sitters provide love and attention to pets, give fresh water and fresh food, give potty breaks and walks, administer meds if needed, provide lived-in atmosphere for home. Dog Walkers provide necessary potty breaks and exercise for dogs. Great job for experienced pet sitters, dog walkers, vet assistants, vet techs, or animal shelter workers. Will consider available, responsible pet owners with wide exposure to the care of various pets.
Job Requirements:
Foremost, you must have a love of pets of all breeds, ages and sizes with a strong desire and ability to care for them. Prior experience working with pets is a plus. 12 months commitment required. Workers needed who live and or work in the following communities in Illinois: Belleville, Caseyville, Collinsville, Edwardsville, Fairview Heights, Glen Carbon, Granite City, Hollywood Heights, Maryville, Pontoon Beach, O'Fallon, Shiloh and Swansea.
Preference given to candidates available on a regular basis for three or more time slots: 5AM-7AM, 7AM-9AM, 9AM-11AM, 11AM-1PM, 1PM-3PM, 3PM-5PM, 5PM-7PM., 7PM-9PM, and or for overnight stays 7PM-7AM. These positions are for employees not independent contractors.
Other requirements: reliable insured pet-friendly transportation, cell phone, internet access, ability to lift 40 lbs., exposure to all types of weather conditions, ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, ability to work independently, extremely dependable, clean background check and negative drug test.
