The Service Manager is responsible for the. verall performance. the dealership's fixed. perations. He/she ensures that each department meets both short and long range. bjective and appropriately contributes to total dealership goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:. Set monthly and annual sales and gross profit. bjectives (forecasts) for service, parts, and body shop departments.. Establish detailed record-keeping systems to accurately track sales and production performance versus. bjectives. n a daily basis.. Determine both short and long term staffing requirements for production and support personnel.. Establish goals and. bjectives for employee development programs.. Set customer satisfaction index (CSI) goals and coordinate plans for their attainment.. Establish written departmental policies and procedures including, but not limited to: Hiring practices Hours. f. peration Pay plans and pay levels Written job descriptions Employee training Standards. performance. Assist the service sales staff in identifying and/or resolving vehicle problems. n the service lane.. Cooperate with and assist those dealership personnel involved in customer conflicts. ver vehicle service. r repair problems as necessary..
