Job Description: Responsible for ongoing portfolio management of commercial loan and affordable housing portfolios, and other community-investment related private client deals, as assigned. Work under the supervision of Director in the Portfolio Management Group. Primary Responsibilities:Loan Review and Purchase:Assist with loan review, purchase, and funding process of commercial loans purchased from third parties for the benefit of private clients.Review underwriting, due diligence reports, and loan documents for completeness and correctness. Ensure loan documents are in compliance with program guidelines.Ensure loan files are complete and include adequate and correct loan documentation, assignments, title policies/endorsements, third party due diligence reports, etc. High-level Loan/Portfolio Administration and Customer Service:Process loan-servicing requests in accordance with loan documents and servicing agreements. Review and understand supporting documentation including loan agreements, mortgages, subordination agreements, partial reconveyances, easements, appraisals, partnership agreements, regulatory agreements, title policies, audited financial statements, etc. Prepare written proposals to compliance committee supporting transaction recommendations. Coordinate with legal counsel, borrowers, escrow, private clients, etc., as needed to close transactions.Monitor servicing agreement compliance issues, loan covenants, and other related compliance matters.Loan collection efforts, problem loan management/coordination.Process loan payoffs, monitor maturing loans, manage loan ticklers.Provide excellent customer service to borrowers and private clients. Portfolio Monitoring and ReportingReview remittance reports prepared internally and by sub-servicers. Assist with reconciliation as needed.Assist with preparation and/or distribution of investor reporting packages.Monitor financial performance of collateral/real estate properties to ensure that potential negative and/or other changing trends in loan and property performance are addressed timely.Ongoing analysis of credit quality/underwriting, loan/property monitoring.Assist with securitization activities as need
