Job Description:
Manage sampling time/action calendar to meet all department/division milestone dates. Provide recommendations for raw material and garment development sourcing. Collaborate with Technical Design to address construction issues on a program level. Collaborate with Fabric and Trim R & D team to troubleshoot seasonal, style issues. Ensure accuracy of GPMT LAS report. Proof Design generated Bills of Materials. Oversee completion of physical testing. Monitor on-time delivery of development samples. Participate in weekly production status update calls with the bi-coastal cross-functional teams. Manage and track all production samples. Arrange and prioritize fit samples for all fit sessions. Create & distribute costing packages. Partner with Manager to confirm placement plan with sourcing channels/vendors. Financial Management Utilize cost matrix by category to meet program and department level cost/margin goals. Follow up with sourcing channels and input information into a seasonal costing plan, Manage initial development costing process with S&VD to target AUC and IMU goals. Gather information on liabilities and present solutions to Manager. Product Placement Understand and collaborate on department hindsight and forecasting process. Manage development package process. Develop an action plan for pre-placement open issues. People and Relationship Management Develop Assistant Production Manager (where applicable). Special Projects Drive results for Corporate and Brand initiatives
