Major Duties: This includes setting internal goals, formulating short and long-range plans, providing leadership, organizing the work to reach planned objectives, routinely evaluating new services for more efficient; analyzing work-patterns and making necessary changes. Incumbent directs the activities of a staff of approximately 64 employees ranging from GS-4 to GS- 13.Analyze potential revenue sources within the Medical Center and ensure that all MCCF billing and collections guidelines are strategically followed. Analyze total MCCF collections in terms of productivity, follow-up effectiveness, and percentage collected in relation to established VISN goal. Analyze the active first and third party accounts receivable for a given period with respect to the value of outstanding accounts receivable greater than.90 days old. Evaluate the Gross Days Revenue Outstanding (GRDO) by analyzing the total accounts receivable as it compares to the cash flow derived from revenue collections.
