Job Description:
Plan, develop, implement, administer, evaluate & monitor an aggressive major gifts fund raising program. Conduct & determine appropriate fund-raising activities to generate the maximum level of donations to meet/surpass established financial development goals, in support of the budget & programs focused on individual donor upgrading, cultivation & socialization. Cultivate present donors & the development of new income sources for present & long term support. Responds to requests fro information & clarification from donors & potential donors in an accurate, timely & professional manner. Research & analyze local data & information sources to keep abreast of socio-economic trends. Develop, prepare, monitor & submit regular financial reports illustrating financial development progress. Establish & maintain an organized & efficient donor/prospect record keeping system. Develop appropriate cultivation plan & activities with boards, committees, councils & program directors as required. Develop the annual Financial Development Program budget; administer the affairs of the position within approved budget. Evaluate programs in the light of fund-raising activities & donor trends & work to support & strengthen efforts to specific corps in development & implementation on relevant programs, when assigned. Refer planned giving leads & share information that may enhance the effectiveness & efficiency of overall fund raising efforts with planned giving staff. Conduct presentation & solicit support & participation from the Advisory organizations. Recruit, lead & motivate volunteers. Attend & participate in the annual Territorial Financial Development Conference. Supervise administrative support and/or intern staff. NOTES: Telecommuting is allowed. US Residents Only. Requirements Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong public speaking skills. Strong networking and social skills. 3 yrs documented success in fundraising and/or marketing Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure.
