Job Description:
Title: Field Organizer Needed
We are currently accepting applications for the
position of Field Office Organizer.
Grassroots Campaigns is running a campaign on
behalf of the National Democratic Party (the DNC),
which has retained GCI for this project. Past and
future campaigns include ACLU, Save the Children,
and League of Conservation Voters.
This organizer will be responsible for recruiting,
training and managing 15-50 paid campaign staff.
The team will reach out to local citizens, identify
supporters, and sign people up to give grassroots
financial support and volunteer their time for get-
out-the-vote efforts. Face-to-face conversations
are the best way to motivate people to take political
action, and our work can help tip the balance in
November. This is shaping up to be a historic
election, and we can’t afford another eight years of
Bush governing!
Candidates need leadership experience, progressive
political perspective, ability to juggle multiple
responsibilities, and be effective public speakers
and one-on-one communicators who are able to
work with and motivate a wide range of people.

Salary: Starts @ $24,000
