Sunday, Human Resources - General Manager Seeking General Manager for successful, state-of-the-art 1200 employee plant facility in NC. Minimum 15 yrs experience in HR with 10 yrs experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Two key priorities in this position: (1) the ability to effectively work with two cultures and (2) making presentations using charts, graphs, showing ROI on recommendations. Will oversee general management for the facility including salary administration and compensation, benefits/payroll/recognition programs, proactive retention strategies and programs, performance management systems, project management. Will also be responsible for team member relations, strategic planning, budget preparation, cost controls and initiatives, compliance administration, organizational development and succession planning, making presentations to employees and management, continuous improvement, HR ROI, internal/external activities, Sarbanes-Oxley administration, legislative awareness, countermeasures and change management. Must be flexible, positive and innovative with the ability to detect the need and design new systems. Occasional international travel and domestic travel to conferences, vendors (less than 5% travel). Communication skills are critical - both written and verbal. Will provide clear and timely direction to HR and Management level teams on HR issues, training and leadership management and development.
