Job Description: The position supervises 15 employees including the Manager of Compensation and the Manager of Benefits and provides leadership, guidance, and execution of the System\'s compensation and benefit programs, develops system-wide HR policies and programs, and manages special projects. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Directs the analysis, design, implementation, communication and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs. Builds and develops a talented compensation and benefits team. Develops system-wide HR policies, coordinating with field HR Directors for alignment and adoption of consistent hospital-level policies. Plays a key role in fostering and enhancing employee engagement. Qualifications and Experience Advanced degree and CEBS, CCP, or SPHR strongly preferred. At least ten years HR experience including five plus years of proven leadership in progressively more responsible HR management positions. Healthcare or academic experience is a plus. Experience in forecasting data, preparing, and managing budgets of significant magnitude. Effective analytical, organizational, problem-solving, follow-through, and project management skills. Broad knowledge of human resources information systems (Lawson preferred). Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills, and the ability to form relationships and interact with all levels of the organization. Excellent salary, incentive, and benefit package is available.
