Job Description: Overview Lead, educate and develop human resources employees and assist with development and maintenance of processes and procedures for the human resources department. Position Information Lead, educate, and develop hourly employees administering HR support functions Oversee hiring process and ensure D.O.T., government, and company regulations are followed Oversee, approve, and assist HR personnel with daily responsibilities and benefits Assist manager-human resources (East) to staff human resources-GO; maintain vacation/attendance records; monitor and approve Kronos punches Maintain and oversee poster compliance (includes state, federal, worker's compensation, etc.) Track and look for efficiencies in weekly department measurements Maintain and update internal procedures and HR intranet forms and e-forms Oversee post hire surveys for GO and ensure completion within 60 days of hire. Maintain and oversee GO exit interview processes Hold quarterly one-on-ones with direct reports Manage various HR leadership responsibilities such as department meeting planning and facilitation, pre-shift meetings, noncompliance tracking, back pay tracking, health benefits corrections, department surveys, invoice approval, data entry error tracking and corrections, tax credits, and compliance Ensure completion of regular audits of departmental processes and follow up with issues and results Develop and implement improvements for department processes as necessary Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job
