Job Description:
Shop Manager needed for busy Tool and Equipment Rental Company.

This is a diverse position and flexibility is a must to the demands of a busy shop and a large vehicle fleet.
Position is full time with alternating or rotating Saturdays required. You must be computer literate with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar environment. Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Some of your responsibilities as the shop manager will be to oversee the repair shop and the parts & service departments as well as to:
-Write service tickets and customer tickets
-Process work orders and bill out
-Delegate Repairs
-Review Parts Requests
-Track mechanics time vs billable time
-Evaluate equipment and vehicles & repair as needed
-Execute maintenance campaign
-Help order parts
-Coordinate preventive maintenance with rental counter
-Oversee cleanliness of yard, shop and fleet
-Run profit and loss statement for shop
-Develop a marketing program
-Coordinate work schedule
-Coordinate rentals with counter – Pull & Ready
-Assist in managing parts inventory – min/max
-Design pricing structure for parts, labor retail/wholesale
-Oversee basic building maintenance
