Flexible schedules available, including partial work-from-home Will relocate the right candidate The WellPoint NextRx PBM, Integrated Pharmacy Management division is seeking a pharmacist to lead pharmacy program management for the Maine business segment. Specific responsibilities of this position include: Monitor, evaluate, develop and implement cost of care strategies and quality initiatives. Interact with and attend client meetings and support local and national sales as needed. Provide support to local regulator stakeholders including legal, government relations and public relations staff. Work with healthplan to design pharmacy benefits and assist in creating DOI filing language. Monitor drug costs across both medical and pharmacy programs and develop coordinated strategies to deliver value. Provide stakeholder communications including both internal and external committees - including P&T updates, clinical edits, and pharmacy initiatives. Serve as a clinical resource and consultant to client and health plan key stakeholders in all areas of pharmacy benefit management- provides training as needed for healthplan stakeholders. Provide sales support to prospective clients and RFP needs as necessary. Issues resolution- responsible to monitor , devise and implement corrective action plans for pharmacy related issues. Other related responsibilities as assigned.
