Human Resource Manager MUST HAVE A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT BACKGROUND, NOT FROM A SERVICE OR RETAIL ORGANIZATION.RequirementsMinimum Education Required: Bachelors Minimum Years of Experience: 10 + Minimum Travel Required: 0-25% Basic Qualifications: BS degree in HR, Business or related field of study. Advanced degree a plus. Strong generalist background and at least 10 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience leading HR function Preferred Qualifications: Broad knowledge of HR as well as demonstrated hands-on expertise with results in areas such as: translating business strategy into HR strategy fostering a positive employee relations environment strategic staffing/recruitment and talent management organizational effectiveness and leadership development team building and effective communications change management, and continuous improvement; experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plus performance management and compensation strategic partnerships in public/community relations benefits administration and payroll building strong partnerships with charitable and local government organizations Ideal candidates will also possess many of the following characteristics/skills: results driven and accountable for actions; work independently approachable; demonstrates leadership strength and managerial courage outstanding/effective communicator in every setting able to forge strong, trusting collaborative relationships sound coaching, mentoring and conflict resolution mediating, negotiating and influencing skills project management and business acumen able to conceptualize and effectively implement views safety as a way of life DDI certification, SPHR or PHR are a plus Required Skills: -- See Job Description -- Desired Skills: Non-Tech Skills: Start Date: ASAP
