Job Description: POSITION PURPOSE As an HR Generalist assigned to the district HR team, this role will support the execution of HR initiatives in the areas of Organizational Effectiveness, Staffing, Learning, Performance Management, Associate Relations, and HR Communications for a district. Below is a summary of the HR Generalist positions. Applicants should be willing to work in any of the three openings.Human Resource Manager Associate Development This role will also lend functional expertise in the area of Learning and Associate Development by supervising and conducting associate learning events, and evaluating job aids/materials to meet the objectives of the audiences targeted by the Learning Department and partnering with the Talent Manager on initiatives related to career development for our associates. It is their responsibility to develop and manage the Store Associate Trainers and ensure quality execution of learning events in their respective areas. The Associate Development Manager will also work as a contributing and flexible member of the District Human Resource Organization by assisting other team members in meeting workload demands as needed. Human Resource Manager Associate Relations This role will also lend functional expertise in the area of Associate Relations by helping to establish and manage fair and consistent practices within an assigned district with respect to the treatment of associates in all the terms and conditions of employment. The Associate Relations Manager will also work as a contributing and flexible member of the District Human Resource Organization by assisting other team members in meeting workload demands as needed. Human Resource Manager Talent Management This role will also lend functional expertise in the area of Staffing and Talent Management by ensuring the effective execution of talent management processes for selecting, developing, and retaining a high-performing, diverse workforce in designated stores. Responsibilities include training assessors, managing selection/promotion events, supporting talent reviews, supporting performance reviews, encouraging career development, managing organizational surveys, and supporting associate retention. The Talent Manager will also work as a contributing and flexible member of the District Human Resource Organization by assisting other team members in meeting workload demands as needed.NATURE AND SCOPE Reports to District HR MgrHRM Talent Management and HRM - Associate Relations have no direct responsibility for supervising others.HRM Associate Development is accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others
